This October we bring together two of Melbourne’s finest, Ross Magnaye and Harry Mangat, for a 6 course celebration inspired by creative Indian and South East Asian Cuisines.

Ross is currently head chef of Rice Paper Scissors, where he creates SE Asian dishes that are packed full of flavour. Originally training in pasty under Darren Purchese, Ross went on to work at Melbourne eateries Little Hunter and Society, before training in some of the world’s top kitchens including DOM in Brazil and Aziamendi in Thailand. Heavily influenced by his Filipino background, Ross will be showcasing dishes packed with flavour and technique when he joins forces with Harry in October.

Harry has most recently been working with Jackalope Hotel’s Doot Doot Doot on the Mornington Peninsula, while he continues his culinary collaborations focusing on his passion for Indian flavours. His 10 years in the industry has seen him working with hatted restaurants IDES, Hare & Grace and Attica. Harry’s focus is on simplicity and the use of local and seasonal produce, lifted with the use of complex yet balanced use of spices.
